Smoke gives Red Oak a cooler gray tone while still keeping the familiar look of a traditional solid hardwood floor. It works well in living rooms, hallways, bedrooms, and other spaces that want a more updated color without losing the warmth and character of real oak.
Because this is a smooth, semi-gloss strip floor, it has a more classic layout and a more polished appearance than a wider plank floor. The gray color feels more current, but the natural oak grain still gives the floor movement so it does not look flat or artificial.
